Here at Mad Cats Cattery, our philosophy is that each and every cat is different and deserves as much TLC as they need. As a family-run team and avid cat lovers (Suki and Henna are our two lovely Bengals which are at the heart of our family), we understand how much going away and leaving your pets is a pull on your heart-strings and that you want the best for them. That’s why we designed our 5-star cat hotel to offer the space, love and care for all cats so that you can drop them off and know they are in safe and loving hands.

We’re mad about cats and we think we’ve got the competition licked with the purr-fect place for your cat to stay while you’re away. We’d encourage you come and meet the Mad Cats team, see our licensed cattery for yourself and give it the seal of approval before you book your pet in for a stay.

Where we are

Our luxury cattery is located in a quiet area in Stanway, Colchester, only 5 minutes’ drive from the A12. You can find us just off Tollgate Road.

Directions

Coming from the A12 roundabout (junction 26), head right past Sainsburys, and straight over the first two roundabouts, then left at the third by Chiquitos, heading towards Tollgate retail park. Once you get to the end of the road by Costa, turn right on the roundabout, and at the next roundabout turn right again onto Church Lane. Head up the hill and once at the top we are on the right-hand side, with the gravel driveway, Old House.
